OVER THE BOARDER
... (border) in Wales, on Newport’s very own transporter bridge. Groggily waking in the back of Winch’s car, I can't be faulted for mistaking having woken next to Middlesbrough’s transporter bridge, so much closer to home. But this was something new to climb!
With the ladder on not quite the same position as Middlesbrough’s transporter bridge, we began our climb. When at the top the differences became more obvious, this bridge being a suspension bridge of sorts and that from home being a solid blue metal structure.
