H.M.S TRINCOMALEE
After a few meetings, and patiently waiting until the right season, and more meetings, I was there, on top of the oldest War Ship afloat in Europe, the HMS TRINCOMALEE, this (along with Steetley Chimney) is one of the best features of Hartlepools skyline.
Not usually one for gaining permission, this along with some other teaching work, were part of a new more professional persona I decided to practice before being put out into the big world of non-student photography, and with the help of the HMS Trincomalee Trust, this practise went well and led to some work, after climbing the mast a further two times, there’s now a mat, two – three meters across imbedded into the floor in permanent exhibition in the Trust Museum and the Historic Quay.
Here’s to doing things ‘properly’, and enjoying it, and most importantly here’s the HMS Trincomalee and her Trust!
